Did you know that thousands of pets in Canberra rely on RSPCA ACT each year for urgent care and support? Many of these animals are abandoned, neglected, or facing preventable health issues. Even one animal in need is too many.

That’s why I’m walking at Canberra Paws Walk 2026. I’m on a mission to raise funds to help local pets stay healthy, safe, and in loving homes through services like emergency boarding, subsidised desexing, vaccinations, behaviour support, and the Community Pet Pantry.

# Team Dobby – Walking with Purpose 🐾

Welcome to **Team Dobby**!

This year, Dobby and I are proud to be taking part in the **RSPCA Million Paws Walk fundraiser** to help raise funds for animals in need.

Dobby is more than just a dog — he is my **service dog and companion**, supporting me as a military veteran through the challenges that can come after service. Every day, he provides comfort, stability, and unconditional love. He has been by my side through some of life’s hardest moments, and his loyalty and support mean more than words can ever say.

Because of Dobby, I know firsthand just how life-changing animals can be.

That is why this fundraiser is so close to our hearts. Every animal deserves safety, care, and the chance to be loved. By supporting Team Dobby in the Million Paws Walk, you are helping the RSPCA continue their incredible work rescuing, protecting, and caring for vulnerable animals.

This walk is not just about raising money — it is about celebrating the bond between humans and animals, and recognising the way they can heal, support, and transform lives.

From one very special service dog to all the animals still waiting for their forever homes, we walk for them.
