Donations made in Penny’s honour will support RSPCA ACT and the animals she loved so dearly.

Do It for Penny 💜

Do It for Penny is a community event created in memory of 13-year-old Penny and inspired by the things she loved most, animals, music, kindness and connection.

Following the recent Against the Odds Podcast with Penny’s dad, Simon, they wanted to create a positive community event that brings families, teenagers and the wider community together while celebrating Penny and continuing her legacy.

On Sunday 1 November, Burrito Bar Tuggeranong will be turning purple for Penny.

Throughout the afternoon, there will be a mixture of different animals in recognition of Penny’s love for animals and reptiles, along with music, family activities and plenty of opportunities for people to come together and connect.

RSPCA ACT will be accepting donations leading up to the event and on the day, with money raised going towards the ACT shelter in Penny’s memory.
