Crunchie needs lifesaving surgery.

Crunchie’s little body has already been through so much. When he was found, he had puncture wounds, severe bruising to his abdomen and a badly fractured back leg. Our vets believe he was attacked by a dog. 

The first days were critical. Blood tests were taken due to yellowing of his skin, indicating possible liver trauma. With fluids, close monitoring and repeat tests, his condition slowly improved. But during this time Crunchie barely ate and hardly moved. Our loving staff gently encouraged him, sitting with him to help him feel safe. 

After a couple of weeks in our veterinary clinic, Crunchie went into foster care, where his sweet personality started to shine. He began purring, nuzzling and greeting our vet clinic team with affection on his return visits. 

But there was one problem that time couldn’t fix：his leg.

Our veterinary team explored every option, but the damage was too severe. The only way for Crunchie to live a pain free life is to amputate. His surgery is scheduled for this Friday.
