About Griffin:
Griffin was discovered as a stray and brought into our Weston Creek shelter. Upon arrival, it was evident that something was wrong with his leg. Our dedicated team swiftly assessed him and determined there was an untreated and serious fracture in his front right leg. Unfortunately, the injury healed incorrectly, limiting its functionality. This impairment affects his quality of life as he is unable to exhibit normal cat behaviours and move freely. He also has a fractured tooth.
The Solution:
Our compassionate veterinary team has recommended a full forelimb amputation to give Griffin a chance at a relatively normal life. Cats can adjust to having only three legs quite easily, especially when the amputated limb is unusable, as is the case with Griffin. Despite his challenges, Griffin remains resilient and is extremely affectionate.
How You Can Help:
We are reaching out to you today to raise funds to cover the cost of Griffin's leg removal surgery, pain relief, dental surgery, post-operative care, diagnostics and desexing. Every donation, regardless of size, will make a significant difference in Griffin's journey towards a second chance at a pain-free life.
