GHTAP April Activity

We've created this page to raise support and awareness.

The Blood Policy and Programs team have chosen to support the RSPCA with our branch activity as it is a cause close to our hearts.

Bridie McInerney volunteers as a foster parent for kittens, helping to care for and socialise them to prepare them for their forever homes. The pictures below are of 2 of her recent kittens when they arrived and after staying with Bridie. It's clear from the photos, that Bridie (through RSPCA's foster program) helped to build the kitten's confidence and trust as part of preparing them for adoption (and a lifetime of love!).

The RSPCA’s foster care program helps to give animals a new start to a better life.

Foster carers provide temporary homes for animals that are not yet ready to go to a new, permanent home for a variety of reasons, and help ensure those animals are healthy and happy without having to remain in a shelter environment until their adoption.
